Jiangsu Haibang New Materials Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer of polypropylene staple fibres, specialising in the research, development and production of high-performance PP fibres for technical textile and nonwoven applications.

The company has been engaged in polypropylene staple fibre production since 1995, with more than 30 years of industry experience.

Haibang was formerly known as Taizhou Hailun Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd.. With the completion of the new manufacturing base in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, all production capacity has been consolidated at Jiangsu Haibang New Materials Co., Ltd.. The former North Plant ceased operations in June 2025, and all production lines were transferred to the new facility.

Today the Haibang production base operates 10 advanced polypropylene staple fibre production lines, with a total annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes, making it one of the major PP staple fibre manufacturing sites in Asia.

The manufacturing site covers more than 100,000 square metres, including modern production workshops, warehouses, laboratories and testing facilities. The company has established a complete fibre testing laboratory, equipped with professional instruments for fibre analysis and quality control, supporting both product development and customised solutions.

Haibang develops and produces a wide range of polypropylene staple fibres for technical textile and nonwoven applications, serving industries such as:

Sustainability and energy efficiency are key priorities for the company. Through continuous improvements in automation and manufacturing efficiency, Haibang has significantly reduced production energy consumption. The energy consumption per tonne of PP staple fibre is approximately 50% lower than the industry average.

In addition, solar photovoltaic systems have been installed on the roofs of the company’s factories, warehouses and office buildings to supply renewable electricity for production. Currently, around 20% of the company’s electricity demand is covered by self-generated solar power, contributing to energy savings and reduced carbon emissions.
