Recently, Jiangsu Haibang New Materials Co., Ltd.’s annual 60,000-ton functional modified polypropylene fiber project was officially settled in the Chemical New Material Industrial Park of Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone. With a total investment of 500 million yuan, the project will add six production lines using self-developed short-spinning technology to achieve full-process production from mixing to packaging.

Upon completion, the project will enrich the regional polypropylene staple fiber product system, meeting the demand for high-performance fibers in automotive interiors, geotechnical engineering, and hygiene materials. The polypropylene staple fiber produced by this process combines moisture conductivity and flexibility, with strong crimp elasticity and abrasion resistance, demonstrating good overall performance for various high-end applications.
